Gilles Delfassy, Acting Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Delfassy, senior vice president of Texas Instruments Incorporated until he retired in 2007, was at the helm of the company’s successful wireless terminals unit since its inception in 1995, growing it into a multi-billion dollar operation. Under his leadership, TI became the world’s number-one supplier of semiconductors for the wireless industry, with more than half the cellular phones in the world built with TI’s chipsets. He joined TI in 1978. Before his position in Dallas, Texas, he served as TI’s European Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Department Manager and led TI’s European Automotive Electronics business.

In 1977, Mr. Delfassy received an Engineering Diploma (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique et d’ Automatique de Toulouse. He then graduated in Business Administration from Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Paris in 1978.

Mr. Delfassy currently serves as an advisor for companies in the high-tech industry and sits on several corporate boards.

Charles Huang, Ph.D.Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Charles Huang is Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer of ANADIGICS, Inc., a position he has held since co-founding the Company in 1985. Dr. Huang is also an IEEE Fellow. ANADIGICS is a leading supplier of radio frequency and microwave frequency gallium arsenide (GaAs) integrated circuits.

Dr. Huang is an experienced professional with over 20 years of design, development and production experience with GaAs technology for such companies as Hewlett-Packard, Avantek and ANADIGICS. Prior to co-founding ANADIGICS, Dr. Huang was Director of Gallium Arsenide Research & Development and Wafer Fabrication Services at Avantek.

Dr. Huang is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering.

Thomas C. Shields

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Thomas C. Shields is Chief Financial Officer of ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq), a position he assumed in August 1999. With over 18 years experience in developing and expanding global financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, new business development and manufacturing, Mr Shields' financial leadership has contributed directly to the success of numerous technology companies including ANADIGICS'.

Mr Shields came to ANADIGICS from Fisher Scientific Company, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Controller. Prior to joining Fisher Scientific, he was Vice President of Finance and Controller of Harman Consumer Group, where he led domestic and international operations and financial management. He also has served as Chief Financial Officer and had full responsibility for P&L and operational performance at Baker & Taylor Software. Mr Shields holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Ron Michels

Senior Vice President & General Manager of Broadband Business

Ron Michels is the Senior Vice President & General Manager of the Broadband Business at ANADIGICS, INC. responsible for development, marketing and sales of broadband products. He also serves as an Executive Corporate Officer of ANADIGICS.

Ron joined ANADIGICS in 1987 and has served in several management and executive positions during that time. Prior to joining ANADIGICS, he held various engineering and management positions in Lockheed Electronics, New Jersey Public Broadcasting, and K & M Broadcasting.

Ron earned his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He holds several US Patents, has authored a number of publications in the area of RF communications and serves on the Lehigh Electrical & Computer Engineering Advisory Board.

Dr. M. Ali Khatibzadeh

Senior Vice President & General Manager of Wireless Business

Dr. M. Ali Khatibzadeh is the Senior Vice President & General Manager of Wireless Business at ANADIGICS, Inc. responsible for development, marketing and sales of wireless products. He also serves as an Executive Corporate Officer of ANADIGICS.

Dr. Khatibzadeh has more than 20 years of experience in the wireless industry. Before joining ANADIGICS in 2000, he was Director of Technology for Ericsson's American Standards Business Unit where he led the development of chipsets for TDMA and EDGE wireless handsets. Prior to that, he held engineering and management positions at Texas Instruments' Wireless Communications Business Unit in Dallas leading the development of RFIC’s for TI’s wireless chipset solutions.

Dr. Khatibzadeh earned B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics, M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1982, 1984, and 1987, respectively. He holds several US patents, has authored a number of publications and is a member of the IEEE.
