ANADIGICS Nominated for EDN China Innovation Award

Warren, NJ, August 13, 2008 -- ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD) today announced that its HELP3™ WCDMA dual-band power amplifier (PA), AWT6221, has been nominated for an EDN China Innovation Award. ANADIGICS’ AWT6221 is competing for the “Best Device Award” in the Communication IC category.

The EDN Innovation Award is one of the most prestigious awards in California’s Silicon Valley, with an 18 year history to recognize achievements in the design of IC and related products. It was introduced to China in 2005 to encourage adoption of new innovative IC products, and is now one the most influential awards in China’s electronics engineering industry. EDN China Innovation Award finalists will be selected by a jury of industry peers, comprised of technical experts from the industry, university and institutes, and EDN China editors. The AWT6221 dual-band PA dramatically reduces average current consumption by 75%, with up to 25% increase in talk-time.
